Temporary Pause on Ear Microsuction Services at Chudleigh Pharmacy

To prioritise the upcoming NHS flu and COVID-19 vaccination programme, our ear microsuction service will be temporarily suspended for one month. We’ll resume this service once the flu season pressures ease. Read on to learn more about why this change is important and how we’re here to support you.

At Chudleigh Pharmacy, our priority is always to serve the needs of our community. With the start of the NHS flu vaccination programme and COVID-19 booster campaign from 1st October, our team will be fully focused on delivering these vital vaccines to protect as many people as possible this winter.

To make sure we can dedicate enough time and resources to these essential services, we will be temporarily suspending our ear microsuction service for one month. This means that from 1st October until the end of October, ear microsuction appointments will not be available.

We understand this may cause inconvenience for some patients who rely on this service, and we sincerely apologise. Please rest assured that ear microsuction will return in November once the busiest vaccination period has passed.

Why the temporary change?

The flu and COVID-19 vaccinations are a national health priority this season.

By pausing ear microsuction, our trained staff can focus on vaccinating as many people as possible in a safe, efficient, and timely way.

This helps reduce pressure on local healthcare services while protecting our community against flu and COVID-19 during the colder months.
