Instead of ringing round to check where a request has got to, the app keeps you updated at every step — from the request reaching your GP to your medication being ready to collect. Pop in and see us

Drop your repeat slip in at the counter, or ask our team to register you for PharmAppy in-store — we'll get you set up in a few minutes and show you how it works.

Give us a call

Phone 01626 854977 during opening hours and we'll help with repeat requests, queries about your medication, or checking whether your prescription is ready.

Through your GP

Order through your surgery as usual — if you've nominated Chudleigh Pharmacy under the Electronic Prescription Service, your prescription is sent to us automatically, with nothing to hand in.

Please allow a few working days between ordering a repeat prescription and collection, so your GP has time to approve the request and we have time to prepare your medication. We'll always let you know if there's a delay or a supply issue.

Prescription FAQs

What does it mean to "nominate" a pharmacy?

Nomination tells the NHS Electronic Prescription Service where to send your prescriptions automatically. Nominate Chudleigh Pharmacy — in the PharmAppy app, through the NHS App, or by asking us or your GP — and there's no paper prescription to collect or drop off; it simply arrives with us electronically.

Can I manage prescriptions for someone else?

Yes — PharmAppy lets you order and track medication for loved ones as well as yourself, which is especially handy if you look after an elderly relative or manage a family member's repeats. Ask our team and we'll help you set this up properly.

How will I know when my medication is ready?

If you use PharmAppy, the app updates you at each step — request sent, approved by your GP, being prepared, and ready to collect. Otherwise, you're welcome to call us and we'll check for you.

Is PharmAppy really free?

Yes — the app is completely free to download and use, and registering takes just a few minutes with your NHS login. If you'd like a hand, talk to a member of our team in-store and we'll get you set up.

Do you handle private prescriptions too?

Yes — bring in any private prescription and we'll dispense it promptly. If we need to order your medication in, we'll tell you when it will be ready.
